RESOURCE CENTER - HELP FOR TEACHERSPartners in Prevention has been designated by the State Department of Health and Senior Services, Division of Addiction Services as the primary prevention resource center serving Hudson County . As such, it maintains a library of literature and other educational resources which are available to parents, students, educators, schools, municipal alliances, clergy, health care professionals, treatment facilities, public housing authorities, employers and others seeking information regarding substance abuse and related problems including: date rape, domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, child abuse and neglect, alcohol, tobacco and all other drugs including prescription drug abuse, childhood drinking, disabilities and addictions, just to name a few. A list of videos available for loan is available at the Resource Center . Partners in Prevention has the capacity to access up-to-date scientific and legislative information as it pertains to substance abuse and freely disseminates it to the community. Partners in Prevention provides meeting schedules and pamphlets for a variety of twelve step programs, as well as a directory of treatment facilities across the country. There is no charge for the majority of publications, posters and sample curriculums. Research materials, books and videos may be borrowed for a two week period.
